Exciting News from Maldon Youth Orchestra!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the MYO Scholarship! This prestigious award will be granted to one exceptional member of our orchestra per year who demonstrates outstanding skill, commitment, and perseverance.

The recipient of the MYO Scholarship will receive:

One year’s fees paid – enjoy a full year of orchestra membership at no cost!

A £40 voucher to spend at a local music store – perfect for purchasing new sheet music, accessories, or instrument maintenance.

The recipient can also include being a MYO Scholarship winner on their CV/UCAS form – a fantastic addition to any application or resume, highlighting your dedication and achievement.

The award will be decided by the Musical Director in consultation with the MYO committee and adult volunteers. No need to apply or audition! We’ll announce the first scholar at the start of next term.
